Long Service Show Award for C&O Team Members Ann and Alan at the Gillingham & Shaftesbury show.
The highlight of the show this year was seeing two current members (Ann James and Alan Pile) and one former member of the team (John Froud) from C&O’s Blandford Head Office receive well-deserved lifetime achievement awards.
Ann James on leaving school joined Stanley Pond Ltd in Blandford, who were taken over by C&O Tractors in 2000, where she has been an indispensable part of the team, providing administrative support for 49 years.
Alan Pile like Ann, joined Stanley Pond Ltd from school, as an apprentice tractor engineer and is extremely well respected by farming customers throughout the area have given exceptional service through 45 years with the company.
John Froud worked for the company from age 16 until 2017 and still works in the industry at EG Coles.
The Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show is one of the largest one day agricultural shows in the south, held on the Turnpike Showground in North Dorset. The shows is a traditional agricultural show and regularly has over 24,000 people in attendence. C&O Tractors have supported the show for years and host customers and display tractors and machinery on a large ring-side trade stand.
The show award for C&O team members is great recognition of the important role played by all members of the team in supporting our customers.
