C&O’s Isle of Wight team have been working closely with local engineering firm A.J. Wells & Son to develop a new Swath Roller. The new tool sees A.J. Wells & Son return to their heritage in building agricultural machinery.
The Swath Roller squashes the tall swath now produced by the new higher spec combines and rakes, avoiding problems with straw and grass build up underneath tractors.
The Roller has been tested on the Isle of Wight and the development team are now looking for farmers and contractors to test and provide feedback on the tool – available in two sizes – throughout the 2020 Harvest.
